React's use hook: async simplified
Tired of useEffect and useState and disconnected request and response to make a simple API call? React's use hook dramatically simplifies asynchronous data and Suspense. In this talk we'll show both how difficult it was before and how easy it is now. You get async data loading, error handling, and a loading screen — all built-in to the vanilla React 19. We'll discuss best practices and pitfalls, and strategies for transitioning away from useEffect and useState. You'll get to see just how easy it is to `use` async in React, and leave with a GitHub repo of samples to use in your own work.
