Generative AI: Frontend for Your Agents
Your agent can reason, plan, and call tools. But the moment it needs to show a user something — a confirmation dialog, a live dashboard, a form — you're duct-taping chat bubbles onto a React app and hoping for the best. The agent backend is solved. The frontend is wide open.
That changed fast. Three open protocols finally give agents a real frontend layer. AG-UI streams agent state to your UI in real time so tool progress, decisions, and user interactions stay in sync while the agent works. A2UI lets agents describe the interface they need as structured data, which your app renders automatically. MCP Apps allow any tool to return interactive HTML that renders in sandboxed iframes — no custom components required.
In this session, you'll see all three working together in a live Next.js app built with CopilotKit and Vercel AI SDK. Four demos cover real-time context reading, consent-first agent actions, agent-rendered React components, and live MCP dashboards — each with a code snippet you can drop into your own project the same day.
