Oracle Database 23ai and the Oracle Database Operator for Kubernetes
In this presentation Ron will introduce Kubernetes, explore core concepts and discuss the need for database operators to simplify the management of databases on Kubernetes clusters.
Ron will walkthrough the installation of the Oracle database operator into an Oracle Kubernetes Engine (OKE) cluster and through live demonstrations, participants will gain a comprehensive insights into deploying Oracle 19c, 21c, and 23ai databases on Oracle Container Engine for Kubernetes (OKE), or on-premises Kubernetes clusters.
Ron with detail how Kubernetes can be used to deliver High Availability (HA) by demonstraing a planned and uplanned database failover across OCI Availablility Domains (ADs).
