Personal data is what has the potential to drive the economy of tomorrow. But sometimes we are sharing too much of our information. In this engaging talk, I want to propose that we have to build our human firewall in an age where much of our lives is online.
Most technology users invest in a traditional firewall, but I May argue that individuals and organizations need to step beyond that to guard against cyberattacks. Instead, they need to build up their own “human firewall” to effectively protect themselves. I feel that people are too carefree when it comes to their personal information and that the biggest line of defense against cyberthreats is people themselves. Of course, in addition to being personally cautious, it’s also imperative to make sure your software is up to date.
