15 years ago my friend and I, we founded Zure, an Azure-focused company in Finland. Now Zure operates in Finland, Belgium, Denmark and UK. During these last 15 years as a developer-turned-CEO I've looked at the trends and the industry, and in this talk I'll tell you how I see our field.

There are technological changes behind and ahead of us, but at the same time we all have skills and capabilities that won't be left behind. In this talk, we explore where is our industry now, and what should an individual think about next? What paradigms are trending, and what non-trending things shouldn't be forgotten? AI is here, is it a threat or an opportunity?

The aim of this talk is to lessen your anxiety and increase your excitement, and if happen to have FOMO or imposter syndrome, hopefully you'll have less of those after this talk. This is an old person's view on where the things stand, a different angle for you to consider and relate to things.
