Charts for small newsrooms

Just because you're in a small newsroom doesn't mean you can't make great, informative charts! Even a little bit of Excel can take you far.

In this session, we'll show you how to quickly make a great graphic by yourself, using publicly available election numbers to make simple but informative graphics. We'll also go over some principles of good graphic design to make sure your charts are communicating what they need to, and how to export charts for print or web publication.
