In this workshop, you will learn hands-on how to setup failure injection testing (also known as chaos testing) you can use to ensure the resiliency of your service. We will supply you with an AWS account and the tools to setup a three tier architecture. Then you are guided how to implement automation to simulate various failures from loss of a single Amazon EC2 server to loss of an entire Availability Zone. We will focus on the impacts of these failures and the resources AWS provides to maintain high service availability and short time to recovery.
