Session

Policy-as-Code - Enforcing ML Governance with Terraform + Sentinel + Vault

This talk shows a practical pattern for encoding ModelOps guardrails as policy-as-code. Session will use Terraform to provision model infra/deployment pipelines, Sentinel policies to enforce promotion gates and Vault for secrets/sensitive labels. Session will demonstrate how to block risky promotions automatically, capture governance artifacts into an immutable store and integrate alerts. Session will use concrete examples that you can adapt to Databricks, Fabric or on‑prem pipelines. Key takeaways:-

#1 How to write promotion gates as Sentinel policies (quality, fairness, groundedness).

#2 Vault patterns for model secrets, short‑lived creds and sensitivity labels.

#3 CI/CD + policy enforcement pattern that automatically blocks/rolls back risky model promotions.
