Why is safety important? Safety is essential for optimal brain development and academic success. Without safety, it becomes more difficult for children to become successful learners. During this session we will discuss how visuals can answer "Yes" to the brain's question of "Am I Safe" so children CAN learn. We will learn how to practice the Skills of Composure and Assertiveness as we create routines and implement structures that help every child experience a felt sense of safety in our School Family.
