Ekphrasis: What is it and Why does it matter?

I hold a PhD in Ekphrasis, the relationship between Art and Poetry, the text and the image, the superiority of one over the other. You may ask why this matters: who cares? As a traditional artist for over 30 years, one who has been auctioned by Christies, exhibited at the Venice Biennale, and been interviewed by CNN, BBC, etc, I transitioned into the NFT space over the course of 2020, and by early 2021, was minting and selling my NFTs. After 2 years in the space, I've noticed that there is a massive movement toward Ekphrastic NFTs, the poems written for the artworks, and the artwork created for the poems. What impact does this have in the long run on literary culture? How does this benefit the NFT community moving forward? This is something that no one has thought about. People have discussed Web2 to Web3 movement, but no one has discussed literature in the NFT space. I would like to open Pandora's box with this.
