The MSAL.NET Library just made writing authentication code cool again!
If you have ever tried to write code to connect to Azure AD in the past, then you know the pain of ADAL and the original API that was required to connect your application to your organization’s identities.
That pain is now long gone! The Microsoft Identity Platform has streamlined the way you write code to the point that you can get a token from Azure AD in ~5 lines of code.
In this talk, Sidney Andrews will walk you through how to authenticate to the Microsoft Identity Platform manually using just a browser and Postman, how to do the same authentication steps using the slick MSAL.NET library, and then some of the APIs you can access post-authentication such as the Microsoft Graph.
