Making Distributed Computing Easy with Apache Ignite in the Cloud

Traditional client-server architectures rely on sending data from databases to where the client code is. The Apache Ignite Compute Grid enables running code on the server side, sending your code to the data and reducing network overhead tremendously. This ability to run code on the server side is the distinguishing feature of the Apache Ignite toolset. That said, distributed computing can be complicated. To make it easy, you need the right tools to automate provisioning, code deployment, monitoring, and management of your Apache Ignite clusters.

In this talk, Stan walks through the steps of building a Compute Grid application — from the code developed on the local computer to a production-ready cluster running in the Cloud — using the GridGain Nebula SaaS solution for Apache Ignite.
