Textual - modern web design for the terminal environment

Command-line tools and applications remain an ubiquitous component of developer workflows today, yet often suffer from tribal knowledge, mismatched UX patterns and a hint of obfuscation. What if we could bring lessons from modern web application design like style guides, reusable components, and reactivity to our daily driver toolset?

This session takes a look at Textual, a relatively new Python framework for Terminal UI (TUI) applications, providing features like CSS, layout management, and event/worker APIs to aid in rapid, UX focused application development for the terminal world.

Streamline your DevOps toolchain with common design principles, async operations, and more as we look at what Textual has to offer, as well as building a component library that enables your team to build beautiful TUIs with ease, and to your design standards.
