Application development and deployment is now more efficient than ever before thanks to Kubernetes, cloud technologies and modern CI/CD pipelines. Nevertheless, many companies still lack the integration of performance and load tests into the development process.

In this talk, I share practical experiences and insights from performing load testing applications on Kubernetes. The focus is on beginners who previously had little or no contact with performance testing in the Kubernetes context - basic knowledge of Kubernetes and cloud architectures is required though.

The talk highlights typical challenges such as dynamic scaling, resource limits and the complexity of modern cloud environments. Various testing methods are presented, from synthetic load generation to end-to-end testing. Although the talk is tool-agnostic, proven tools and best practices are presented to help you get started with performance testing of Kubernetes workloads.
