In this session, we will explore how open standards like Decentralized Identifiers (DIDs) and Verifiable Credentials (VCs) work together to provide a decentralized trust system that can give back the own and control of a digital identity. We will also walk through and demo common scenarios using Microsoft’s implementation of decentralized identities (Microsoft Entra Verified ID), where we see how distributed identities will add value and trust. These scenarios vary from remote user onboarding to issuing transcripts.
