Zephyr Bootcamp: A Hands-On Lab

This lab is ideal for beginners with no prior experience with Zephyr or embedded systems development. We'll provide a quick introduction to Zephyr and what sets it apart from traditional MCU vendor tools.

To accelerate your learning, you'll have access to a cloud-based IDE pre-loaded with all necessary tools and source code. This allows you to build your first Zephyr application in minutes.
We also offer hardware kits (to be returned at workshops end) for immediate hands-on exploration of your app.

Following the intro, a series of self-paced tutorials will delve deeper into Zephyr's out-of-the-box features. See how to talk directly to hardware peripherals using the builtin shell,
compose and send a melody to a speaker and get to know shields and the device tree to bring even more hardware under your control.

The workshop will run for approx. 2h.

What to Bring:

Laptop with a modern web browser
One available USB-A port

Limited Spots! This workshop is capped at 16 participants (If demand is high enough the workshop can be offered more than once)
