Viva Insights: Cross-Collaboration for Greater ROI for New Ways of Working

Viva Insights provides powerful metrics and information about how your organization digitally collaborates and communications throughout the O365 environment – particularly Outlook and Teams. However, much like the data within Viva Insights itself, the most powerful implementation of Viva Insights comes because of the organizational context surrounding its use. While ownership of the product typically sits within an IT department, business units throughout an organization are responsible for the use cases, analyzing the results of Viva Insights and developing mitigations/programs. Therefore, continued collaboration between IT and end-user business units is critical during the planning, development, execution, and maintenance phases of Viva Insights use.

This session will discuss the cross-business unit roles and responsibilities associated with Viva Insights implementation specifically as it relates to Employee Wellbeing in the context of new ways of working. Next, we will discuss best practices for co-ownership of Insights & Feedback related business projects. This will include recognizing need and use cases, developing project aims, identifying associated metrics, and planning how to transform Insights & Feedback from nice-to-know metrics into need-to-know, actionable KPIs for new ways of working.
