Beyond Intelligence: Thinking about thinking

Anyone with internet access now has a PhD level next word predictor in their pocket. That tool can fake empathy, but has no context or moral compass. People are marrying their chatbots and fearing for their jobs. Whilst humanoid maids and AI agents are racing at breakneck speed in Shenzhen and San Francisco, small businesses are getting scammed by AI experts that were gym instructors three months ago.

Most boardrooms are excited about promised benefits, whilst graduates and entry level workers are fearing they will become part of a permanent underclass.

Academics are exploring whether chatbots and agents are damaging our ability to think critically, and how the world of work changes whilst operational leaders, change managers and IT leaders are getting told to just "buy AI and appease the board, yet everyone is stuck in freeze or fawn mode, or endless pilots.

Target audience: C-suite leaders and heads of operations and IT in mid-market and enterprise organisations. This session provides an optimistic plan to get unstuck.
