Context in, Trust out: How Spotify's AI Agents Stopped Guessing

Your AI coding agents are confident. The problem is they're confident about systems they don't understand. At Spotify, with thousands of services and a decade of architectural decisions, we watched our agents produce work that was technically correct and operationally wrong — because they had no idea what they were working inside. So we built Xirp, an agentic development environment that connects your agents to your real engineering context before they write a single line of code. In this session, we'll demo how Xirp works with a live codebase, show how context flows from Portal into an agent session, and walk through the use cases Spotify engineers actually use it for every day.

Preferred duration: 30–40 minutes (20 min talk + 10–20 min live demo and Q&A). Target audience: software engineers, platform engineers, and technical leads working with AI coding agents (Claude Code, Codex, Gemini CLI). No prior knowledge of Xirp, Portal, or Backstage required.
