I will talk about the Power of open source and how it can transform an individual’s tech career from novice to professional. I will also walk through the steps of how to create an open source project while giving examples of open source projects that I have created that has accelerated my career. I will then do a live demo of how to create a project and also create all the assets as in a logo, figma designs and discovering project management tools. By the end of this talk, all attendees will know how to start their own open source project and will have a list of resources to get started right away.
