Session
Using computer vision to understand the content of digital images such as photographs and videos.
Ever wonder how self-driving cars can see and navigate their way through a crowded road or freeway. How are self-driving cars able to see, find and understand objects, signs, and road markings? Can a self-driving car understand the distinction between a pedestrian and a pole, or a car and a cat? How can it read road signs and follow road markings?
In part, Autonomous cars are possible with the help of Computer Vision, AI and Neural Networks. In this talk, we will look at how Computer Vision works and what it is. We will look at how we as developers and engineers can integrate the tools available to us to create our own Computer Vision applications.
What is Computer Vision then? They describe it as a field of study that focuses on helping computers to see. In fact, a subfield of Artificial Intelligence and Machine learning.
In this talk we will look at the applications for Computer Vision such as Autonomous Vehicles, Image Search, and Object Recognition, Medical Analysis, Robotics.
