A successful configuration strategy is a key component in a successful application, particularly in microservice environments, but is often underappreciated. This session pulls together open source projects from Steeltoe (part of the .NET Foundation) and Spring Cloud to help identify problems you may not even know you have. After this session, you may never need to worry about configuration infrastructure again!

These feats are made possible by extending .NET Configuration in ways not possible with the old ConfigurationManager. Problems like sharing configuration in a distributed environment (even across programming languages), version-controlling configuration and performing real-time updates can be solved with minimal effort.

Attendees will leave with a newfound appreciation for the workhorse that is .NET Configuration.
