Actions
I am a specialist in cybersecurity, digital law, and forensic investigation, with a career built at the intersection of technology, justice, and the protection of society in a world increasingly vulnerable to digital risk.
Started my career in networking and computer engineering, but recognizing the growing complexity of threats in the digital environment, I made a strategic transition to law, specializing in cybersecurity. Today I am a licensed attorney registered with the Ordem dos Advogados do Brasil (OAB) and the Ordem dos Advogados de Portugal — a combination that allows me to work on both the technical and legal aspects of investigations, which led me to be officially appointed as a digital forensic expert by the Tribunal da Relação do Porto (Portugal), the Tribunal de Justiça de Minas Gerais (TJMG) and the Tribunal de Justiça de Santa Catarina (TJSC).
With 60+ judicial cases involving deepfake investigation, digital manipulation, and forensic source code analysis, I bring courtroom-tested expertise to every keynote — translating real evidence, real rulings, and real attacker behavior into actionable insight.
Created 4 companies and failed 2× before I co-founded Incubou, today with an international presence in the United States and Portugal.
I serve as a global advisor to cybersecurity companies through CyberTech Acceleration, supporting cyber and security-tech companies internationally on strategy, growth, and go-to-market.
Research: author of “Capability without Initiative: Unprompted Autonomous Self-Replication in Large Language Models” on ResearchGate — a literature review and case study on AI safety.
I also act as an angel investor in 18+ startups, dedicating myself to a critical and urgent reflection: developing collective digital immunity and preparing people, organizations, and societies to face what is already considered one of the greatest silent threats of our time — the cyber pandemic.

Ransomware Rescue: A real case of Data Recovery without payment
A hospital lost every backup of its genetics and patient-exam database to ransomware: the ZIP files were gone, replaced by .cripto copies. We recovered them. Not by breaking the encryption, but by understanding the disk. The ransomware made a quiet mistake: instead of encrypting in place, it wrote encrypted copies elsewhere and deleted the originals, leaving them intact in “free” space. Using a forensic image, the signature and structure of older backups, and carving with CRC and hash validation, we rebuilt the archives with evidentiary value. This session walks through the case step by step, explains how files actually live on sectors, and is honest about when this works and when it doesn’t (SSD/TRIM, in-place encryption, wiped free space). It closes with the decisions in the first hours of an incident that determine what can still be recovered.
From Code to Courtroom – My Journey Through the Layers of Cybersecurity
From developer to cyber forensics, from courtroom battles to cyber warfare, this is the thrilling journey of a hacker turned lawyer and later a forensic expert. A story shaped by resilience, real investigations, critical failures, and hard-earned lessons. Through real cases and practical insights, it reveals how technology, law, strategy, and mindset collide to defend the digital future and provide a clear roadmap for the next generation of cybersecurity leaders, founders, and digital defenders.
