Session

From HR-land With Love

Hiring someone is not that hard: we expect some specific skills —mostly technical— with a certain degree of expertise, at a certain cost.

Well, the mastery, experience and salary expectations might be "too much of" or "not enough of". With some "not like this" or "rather like that". Obviously.

So, what if we looked towards… meeting each other? Which translates into writing a "proposal" rather than an "offer", to ask ourselves questions rather than ticking boxes, and to build a reciprocical confidence in who we are rather than waiting for expectations.

Hiring would then be a first try at working together: to lay ways of interacting without knowing each other, exposing how we operate and a big "yes" to elect the improvement of our work relationship as a core metric, as a shared responsability.
