Have you ever been confused when looking at the output of “whoami /priv”? Have you ever experienced that you could not execute a WMI method or take ownership of an object - although you have logged in as admin?
The elevation of rights ("run as administrator") in Windows is generally an almost mystical act and
token privilieges are a particularly often misunderstood feature, as they require explicit activation - perhaps comparable to a bank card that is protected with a PIN.
