Standing on the Intersection of Business, Engineering, and Project Management Functions"
The role of a Business Analyst is not only about the analysis of the business requirements. It intersects with various corporate functions, starting from business operations, engineering, project management, and up to legal and procurement in some cases. Rapid change towards Agile adds one more dimension to this complexity.
This talk explores the evolving function of BAs, who find themselves acting as a go-to person for all kinds of stakeholders, facilitating understanding and alignment among diverse organisational interests. And this can be overwhelming sometimes.
I will share with the audience my 20 years of experience of working with different kinds of businesses, including banking and telecoms industries, in various organisational setups, from startups to large-scale enterprises. I will give listeners practical techniques on how to cope with such a broad scope of work as a Business Analyst and not only survive but also thrive in the role. I will discuss case studies and real-world scenarios, which will give attendees practical strategies to enhance their influence across various functions.
We will reflect on how BAs are uniquely positioned to navigate these multidisciplinary crossroads through effective communication, empathy, and strategic insight and how it can influence their career progression in the company.
