Since its release to a wide audience outside of Google, Kubernetes has become a real game changer in the world of applications and containers. Since its appearance cloud technologies, data infrastructure (traditional RDBMS, NoSQL/NewSQL, streaming, analytics) and application infrastructure (Docker, Kubernetes) were developing rapidly, but still in separate threads. Initially there was no way to synchronize their development. In recent years, many possibilities have emerged that allow you to achieve this and manage data infrastructure also in Kubernetes. In this session we will look at options and strategies installation and management of Oracle database infrastructure in the container world of Kubernetes. Is this a condition satisfactory or are there still areas that require work?
Session audience are database professionals who are interested to understand how database and Kubernetes works together.
