Getting started with making open source contributions has seen daunting for some folks, either because, the do not have good details surrounding the idea of open source, they are doubtful or scared of taking the first leap into open source. Whatever, the reason might be they find ways of shying away from making open source contributions.
Open source contributions however, offer huge benefits to all and in this session, I would talk on the idea of open source, the basics required to get started, give a live demo of a simple open source contribution and also speak on the benefits of making open source contributions.
