My talk aims to use a quiz application deployed on AppEngine to explain some of the features of the Google Cloud Platform. The quiz currently uses the following GCP services:
i) App Engine flexible environment
ii) Datastore
iii) Cloud Storage
iv) Cloud Spanner
v) Cloud Pub/Sub

My approach would be to get participants to browse to the app instance on appspot.com from their phones and take a quiz that is based primarily on cloud services. By taking the quiz participants will be introduced to cloud terminologies and services. They will also get to experience cloud services using an application hosted on the GCP.

I hope I can have two talks:
i) The first talk will be with the general audience where I will give a broad description of GCP products and services using a live demonstration of the quiz app; and
ii) The second talk will be a technical talk with interested developers on developing apps and deploying them on the GCP. I will walk them through how the quiz app was deployed on the GCP. I will also tell them how to go about acquiring the skills and know-how to deploy apps for the GCP.

The goal of my talk will be to ignite interest in developers to develop software solutions for the GCP. At the end of my talk I will be willing to answer questions on GCP services and products to the best of my knowledge.
