Annotations Begone! Using DSLs in Spring 7
Spring Framework 7 is here, and with it comes BeanRegistrarDsl. BeanRegistrarDsl unblocks a powerful new way to configure your Spring Boot application. But it also provides a critical building block for Spring library authors. With it, a library can expose its own DSL API. In this talk we will learn how to use BeanRegistrarDsl in your own application to declare beans and routes in a functional way. Then, we will look at how to build on top of BeanRegistrarDsl to create your own DSL.
This talk is intended for intermediate and expert developers with some experience in Spring Boot or Kotlin. It may be of particular interest to platform engineers who are building frameworks on top of Spring Boot.
The talk focuses on the built-in functional APIs of Spring Boot, especially the new BeanRegistrarDsl.
This talk has not been delivered yet, but will be at a user group prior to devnexus.
