How does KubeEdge achieve decentralized edge-to-edge collaboration

With the rapid development of smart IoT and artificial intelligence technologies, more and more edge devices are requiring decentralized collaboration capabilities. For example, in scenarios such as drone swarms, IoV, Sky Eye, and Starlink, these application scenarios have put forward higher requirements for the capabilities of distributed computing, task offloading, real-time data processing and collaboration of edge devices.
KubeEdge is a CNCF graduated project for cloud-native edge computing. It already supports cloud-edge collaboration, edge-edge collaboration, and regional traffic closed loop. Recently, we will add some new features to KubeEdge, such as workload offline management, workload offload, nearest node discovery, and nearest service routing.
In this session, we will introduce these features and how to use them to enable edge devices to achieve swarm collaboration.
