What we think about when we think about coding - Coding as a creative act
This talk is an opinionated view on how coding is a creative process and that how we think when writing code is not that dissimilar from more traditional creative pursuits such as art, music or writing.
Unfortunately as software developers we don't always acknowledge this aspect of our work and in the workplace it can, at its worst, be actively discouraged. This talk aims to redress this and look at how we can leverage the creative process to improve software development.
