OSPO has became a common denominator for open source compliance, practices, education, governance and many more. Having an OSPO would be critically important to a large corporation to be successful at open source. However, building OSPO might be easy, building long-lasting OSPO can be difficult, because the value creation need to be clear, measurable, which covers both the long term and short term business needs (revenue generation vs cost saving, for example).

This session will highlight both the success stories and challenges continuously encountered along the journey building and improving Ant Group's OSPO, which was a short yet enriching journey. It also represents an unique view to OSPO's perceived value by large corporate top leaders and our first hand experiences on aligning those with community needs and project growth.
