This presentations talks about redefining railway systems using the transformative power of a cloud-native approach. Despite their pivotal role in our future, trains often grapple with outdated IT structures, turning what should be day-to-day operations to year-long plannings. Implementing Cloud-native minded Edge technology in commercial trains since this year, we do not only addresse this multi-decade conundrum but also revolutionize observability, ensuring heightened insights into system performance.
This allow us to enhance safety, efficiency and ultimatly elevate passenger experience. Through GitOps, we achieve a paradigm shift by empowering seamless integration and deployment across multiple railway networks. These innovative approach bolster network resilience, fortifying railways against disruptions and obsolescence.
