In this talk, we will discuss the journey of transforming our analytics dashboard using serverless technologies. I'll take you through the thrilling (yet terrifying) process of restructuring our schemas and API routes, migrating some client-side logic to AWS Lambda functions, and implementing advanced techniques to optimise our API request and response payloads - resulting in drastically improved dashboard load times and scalability.

You'll hear about the challenges of handling big data, the struggles of data validation, and the unexpected hurdles that tested our problem-solving skills. But more importantly, you'll see how serverless architecture allowed us to overcome these obstacles and scale from displaying 7 days of data to 6 months on the dashboard.
