In the evolution of cloud computing, containers have become a pivotal technology. They provide a robust way for packaging, deploying and operating applications, with Kubernetes emerging as a leading orchestrator. On the other hand, Serverless functions provide a streamlined, event-driven model that abstracts infrastructure management entirely. In this session we'll explore the fundamental differences in architecture, scalability, and operational characteristics between these technologies. By investigating real-world scenarios we'll gain insights into choosing the right approach based on workload requirements, deployment scenarios, operations and application for GenAI use cases.
