Most failed initiatives fail because people with different expertise, incentives and mental models struggle to create a shared understanding of the problem they are trying to solve.
Product and Engineering often approach the same challenge from different perspectives. Each perspective is valuable. Yet when these perspectives remain disconnected, teams can end up building the wrong thing, solving the wrong problem, or creating unnecessary complexity.
In this interactive lab, we explore the hidden chain behind many unsuccessful initiatives: failure starts much earlier than implementation:
- people understand the problem differently
- teams use different language
- assumptions remain invisible
- domain knowledge stays fragmented
- decisions are made without a shared model

Drawing from Domain-driven Design, product thinking, systems thinking and human-centered communication, participants will learn practical techniques for creating shared understanding and turning it into better decisions, better collaboration and better products.

This is not a traditional DDD training. This is a collaborative lab for architects, product managers, engineering leaders and anyone responsible for navigating complexity together.

Small print: No previous DDD experience is required. This is not about learning another framework it is about practicing how different perspectives can build shared understanding before jumping to solutions.
