I earned a Bachelors in Double Maths & Physics and did Masters in Computer Sciences in my home country of Pakistan. After my daughter was born, I moved to London in 2008. My son arrived in 2009, after which I started to return to part-time work, returning full time in 2013. My family life brings me a great deal of pride and spurs me on to be a better mother to my now 13 and 11-year old children.

Since 2015, I have worked as an Application Analyst at Alliance Healthcare, liaising with cross-organisational teams in the pharmaceutical sector to gain industry-wide understanding and standards in a fast pace business.

From Dec 2018 - Jan 2021, I have worked for Avanade as a Consultant Business Analyst. Here, I have broadened my sector knowledge to Energy, Finance and Public sectors with some large implementations across Dynamics 365 and other Microsoft technologies.

Within Avanade, we have a BAME network, which I am proud to be a board member. Through BAME, we appreciate our diverse backgrounds and celebrate socio-cultural events across the year. I have also been involved in promoting Avanade to the next generation, with a drop-in session at Kings College London.

I am also working with Islington council on an initiative to provide young adults 100 hours of work experience. I am arranging multiple sessions for students around personal branding, presentation and other business skills.

My experience is unique, being a mother, member of a minority group, and restarted my career after a break. I am passionate in sharing the lessons I have learned along the way to encourage everyone to excel in their career and be the best version of themselves. Thank you.
