Sadie is an HR professional turned Engineer. Having previously managed the training program for Jamie Oliver's Restaurant Group in London, she did a 180 and retrained as a developer through the Lighthouse Labs Web Development Bootcamp in Vancouver. Working for the past two years as primarily a Golang developer, she has returned to Lighthouse Labs as an instructor, teaching students anything from SQL to Express to CSS, usually using Game of Thrones or cat references as a learning aid. In the past year she was lucky enough to be able to volunteer with the Entoto project, teaching young women in Ethiopia web development skills. She currently works for Dapper Labs and is part of a new project working with the NBA. She always carries a bag of dice and a bottle of liquid chalk around with her.
