Apache Kafka: A highly scalable event driven platform to track online card transaction activity

When streams of online card transaction data pass in milliseconds, they should be scanned to direct further to the appropriate service as a legitimate event or illegitimate event. Apache Kafka comes into play to track such events and monitor credit card transaction attempts.
Apache Kafka can track millions of real-time transaction data by scaling and can prevent fraud occurrences.
The stream of such data can train the AL/ML fraud detection model continuously to determine which data can be categorized as legitimate and which data can be anticipated as a threat.
The fraud detection model will be built using BigQuery ML which will send out alert-based fraud notifications.
After categorizing the data, visualization tools like Elastic Search can be used to display the data in a dashboard for business purposes.
The session demonstrates how it can be achieved with Apache Kafka where such data flow is unbounded and it keeps on listening to new data without compromising the ordering of the data.
