Saiyed Shahab Ahmed is a Technology Industry leader. Currently he is associated with Pakistan’s Largest Oil Refinery as Chief Digitalization Executive. He is also a research faculty member of IBA, Karachi (Institute of Business Administration). He is a strong Digital Transformation strategist, communicator and relationship builder who brings his digital acumen to facilitate business growth. He is a seasoned Technology specialist with extensive experience in Project Management, Cloud Computing, IT Security and Data Analytics. Along with master’s degree from IBA, Karachi he has completed many renown certifications including PMP, ISO27001, Data Center Virtualization, Cyber Security, Cloud Security and ITSM. His case studies have been published by Microsoft as success stories of the year 2014 & 2017 and 2020.
He deployed first public cloud of Pakistan in Oil and Gas industry in 2011 using Microsoft platform. Later, in 2014, He implemented first Private Cloud of Pakistan. He successfully completed Data Analytics projects for Pharmaceuticals, Chemical, Oil and Gas, Power generation industries.
He has been a keynote speaker of multiple forums including InfoSec Pakistan and Digital Conclave. He is also a member of Industry advisory board of the University of Karachi. Shahab has introduced many new courses like Cloud Security, Data Analytics and Decision Making and Operations Security for Undergrad and Postgraduate students of IBA, Karachi.
