Sal Rizza has served as the Director of Orientation, Transition & Family Engagement since 2015. Sal believes strongly in the transformative power of education. As the first in his family to attend college, he graduated from Southern Connecticut State University, a mid-sized regional public institution committed to academic excellence, access and social justice. After graduating, Sal began his career at his alma mater in Residence Life and has spent over 25 years in multiple roles. He is currently Chair of the Scholarly Practices and Resources Committee.
