Sam Wahbah is a seasoned packaging and manufacturing engineer with over 15 years of experience in the medical device industry. Currently, as Principal Packaging and Manufacturing Engineer at Olympus, Sam leads the development of packaging solutions for medical devices, ensuring regulatory compliance while maintaining product integrity and safety.

Previously, Sam served as Senior Quality Engineer at Boston Scientific (2006–2013), where he ensured compliance with FDA regulations and ISO standards in the development and manufacturing of medical devices. His expertise includes FDA QSR, ISO 13485, and ISO 14971.

Sam holds both a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Minnesota and is AAMI-certified in CAPA and Quality Systems. His experience spans packaging design, process validation, risk management, and packaging design controls, all crucial to producing high-quality medical devices.
