Sandra is an educator, curriculum writer, professional developer, instructional coach, educational leader, and voice for historically marginalized students. She holds a Specialist Degree in Education Administration and a Master's in Elementary Education. She is currently completing her doctoral research on Culturally Sustaining SEL.

As a champion of best practice models and strategies to ensure equitable learning opportunities for all students, she has extensive experience addressing the needs of all students, including English learners and students with IEPs through co-teaching, reading interventions, balanced literacy, multi-tiered systems of support, language acquisition development, and curriculum design.
