Streamlining UI development in Android using Relay

Introducing Relay, a tool developed by Google that narrows the gap between design and development. This tool accelerates UI development by turning Figma designs into jetpack compose code!
In this session, we'll learn more about Relay and its endless capabilities and have the chance to see this in action by showcasing practical demos that turn design mockups into production-ready UI. We'll also share best practices for having good-quality designs as well as how we can use them for collaboration.

Leveraging Firebase & Generative AI for next gen Android apps

The tech landscape is rapidly evolving and so is the future of Android development. In this session, we'll get to explore the integration between Generative AI, Firebase and Jetpack compose and how they can be harnessed together to build intelligent Android apps. The talk will also highlight Firebase services which will be seamlessly integrated with Jetpack Compose. Additionally, we will explore practical examples and use cases highlighting the potential of these technologies to revolutionize app development.
By the end of this session, attendees will learn about the latest advancements in AI as well as gain insights into building AI-driven apps.

Get to know compose & Firebase

This session covered the basics of Jetpack Compose & Firebase. The attendees learnt about Firebase products & how to integrate Firebase into their Jetpack compose apps.

Navigating the tech space as a student

This event was hosted by Infobip and the session covered various ways in which students can get started in tech. The talk mainly focused on how they can break into the industry and jumpstart their developer careers. It also highlighted the importance of developer communities and how one can contribute to them.

Revolutionizing your UI with Material 3

During this session, I introduced the key concepts and advantages of Jetpack Compose and later delved into Material 3 and its principles. We then explored the various components and styles provided by Material 3 and learnt how to incorporate them into our compose-based projects.

Constraints meet Composables

This talk was selected to be presented at the first edition of Pldroid 2023 in Warsaw but unfortunately, I couldn't make it. My talk was focused on using constraints with composables for building complex layout systems while effectively managing various screen sizes and orientations
