Santiago has an undergraduate title on Audiovisual Communication from University of Antioquia, one of the most important Universities in Colombia. He has almost four years experience on education and marketing. Has been part of the team of the Secretary of Education of the Government of Antioquia and he is partner of Global Education, an online education start-up based on Medellín where he has been leading the development of products using the Open edX platform.

He has been teacher of education and marketing courses for low-income youth and has been speaker at events such as the New Economy International Seminar
