As Sandy Hook Promise’s National Training Director, Sara is dedicated to implementing and sustaining Sandy Hook Promise’s Know the Signs and Anonymous Reporting Systems programs. She works with Sandy Hook Promise Trainers, students, and adult champions to bring Sandy Hook Promise’s message of inclusivity and violence prevention to young people. Sara is a graduate of the University of South Florida with a bachelor’s degree in education. She lived most of her life in Miami but has had a lengthy career educating at-risk youth in Miami, Tampa, New York City, and Chicago. She is passionate about empowering youth, adults, and Sandy Hook Promise Trainers to become the leaders who spread Sandy Hook Promise’s life- saving Know the Signs messages.
