Power BI Everywhere – Embedding, Apps & Automations

Power BI doesn’t have to stay locked inside dashboards — it can be woven throughout the Power Platform to drive action, insight, and automation. In this session, we’ll explore practical ways to embed Power BI into both canvas and model-driven apps, integrate reports with Power Automate, and even use Copilot to surface insights through natural language. You’ll see how to create connected experiences where data flows seamlessly between apps, automations, and analytics. Expect plenty of demos, real-world examples, and ideas you can take straight back to your next project.

10 Things You Didn’t Know You Could Do in Model-driven Apps (No Code)

Model-driven apps are often seen as rigid or complex — but with the right tweaks, they can be surprisingly dynamic, modern, and user-friendly. In this session, we’ll explore a collection of lesser-known configuration tips that can transform the look and feel of your apps without writing a single line of code. Whether you’re new to Power Apps or already building solutions in Dataverse, you’ll discover practical ways to delight users, improve efficiency, and bring a bit of “wow” to your apps. Expect live demos, real-world examples, and plenty of inspiration to take your next model-driven app from basic to brilliant.

The Power of Mentoring in the Microsoft Power Platform ecosystem

The Power of Mentoring, particularly for women working with, and in, the Microsoft Power Platform ecosystem, is undeniable.

Good mentoring partnerships are impactful. They can shape careers, foster leadership, and create long-lasting relationships that help each other grow. They can contribute to women's success and development, both professionally and personally, through skilling and building networks of support.

Being part of the Microsoft Community and its "Better Together" story has shaped all of us. Our involvement with initiatives such as the Women in Power (Platform) Mentorship program, Women in Tech, and UN Women UK, has helped define our joint vision.

Now, we're daring to dream even bigger. We're bringing to life a global charity, HeuristicDev: The Mentoring Hub, as a safe Haven to guide, support, train, and uplift women and other minorities under-represented in Digital Technology or STEM Industry roles.

In this session, its Speaker team takes you through what this journey's looked like so far: from external and work-based cohort programs, to targeted intensive one-off 'unblocking' sessions, and other initiatives such as Speed Mentoring.

We'll discuss the benefits that these different approaches bring to both mentees and mentors, and the challenges that can sometimes arise.

We'll also highlight how essential male allies are to achieving all of the above goals, and the positive actions they can take to empower everyone,

And we'll bring you up to date with the latest news about the work of the Charity, and natter about how you can get involved in, contribute to, or support its programs.

Whether you're a mentor, mentee, ally, or someone wondering about what mentoring could bring to your professional and personal journey, we hope these insights will help inspire you too.
