Sayeeram Gundu is a Senior Principal Enterprise Architect and AI and Data Executive with more than 25 years of experience delivering enterprise data and AI architecture for regulated industries, including healthcare and financial services. He has experience in enterprise data and AI strategy, domain-driven architecture, semantic layer and ontology design, agentic AI architecture, cloud modernization, data governance, regulatory reporting, and architecture governance.
He currently serves as Executive Director and Principal Architect at Wells Fargo, where he leads enterprise data and AI architecture initiatives, including the Enterprise Composite Semantic Layer and Approved Data Sources frameworks. His work supports KPI governance, AI explainability, cross-domain interoperability, data lineage, traceability, and regulatory compliance across Consumer Lending lines of business.
Previously, Sayeeram served in architecture and leadership roles at Cigna Healthcare, Ernst & Young, Blue Cross Blue Shield Arizona, Blue Cross Blue Shield Medicare, Impetus Technologies, IBM Global Business Systems, Deloitte, HSBC, and Tata Consultancy Services. His experience includes Medicare data separation, mergers and acquisitions architecture, cloud migration, enterprise data hubs, SaaS transformation, big data platforms, analytics, data engineering, and large-scale program delivery.
He holds a Master of Engineering degree in Civil Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur. His certifications and training include Azure Certified Solution Architect Expert, Snowflake SnowPro Core, Databricks Lakehouse, CISM, PMP, Certified Scrum Product Owner, SAFe Scaled Agilist, ITIL, AWS Well-Architected Framework, GCP Digital Leader, Generative AI, and Professional Data Science from Harvard University.
