For the past 13 years Joergen has been working in the CRM business area. Starting as a functional consultant with strong interest in new features and functionalities, he also presented the whole Dynamics 365 CE application stack as a presales consultant.
Moving forward he became a solution architect focusing on Dynamics 365 CE applications and possibilities to enhance the Model Driven application world with Power Platform functionalities.
Very early Joergen started participating in Microsoft, partner, and community events and since the beginning of 2020 he actively engages in the community by co-organizing events and sharing his knowledge on LinkedIn, blog posts and as a speaker.

Seit 11 Jahren ist Jörgen im CRM-Umfeld tätig. Begonnen hat er als funktionaler Berater und auf Grund seines starken Interesses an neuen Features und Funktionen, präsentierte er dann auch die gesamten Dynamics 365 CE-Applikationen als Presales-Berater.
Im Folgenden legte er seinen Fokus auf die Ausrichtung als Solution Architekt mit Schwerpunkt auf Dynamics 365 CE-Anwendungen und die Möglichkeiten, die Model Driven Apps mit Power Platform-Funktionalitäten zu erweitern.
Schon sehr früh nahm Jörgen an Microsoft-, Partner- und Community-Events teil, um kontinuierlich sein Wissen zu erweitern und in den Austausch mit anderen interessierten Dynamics 365 Experten zu treten. Seit Anfang 2020 engagiert sich Jörgen zunehmend aktiver in der Dynamics und Power Platform Community, indem er Veranstaltungen mitorganisiert und sein Wissen auf LinkedIn, Blogbeiträgen und als Referent mit der Community teilt.

This session, one week before 2024 Release Wave 2 rollout is coming to all environments with hundreds of new features for Dynamics 365 and Power Platform, will showcase the highlights of the Wave update. I’ll walk you through new features and functionalities in Dynamics 365 applications, including enhancements in Sales, Customer Service, Field Service, and you'll also learn about advancements in Power Platform applications like Canvas Apps, Power Automate or Dataverse.
Power FX - becoming increasingly more the language of the whole Power Platform en
The next step to seamlessly integrate low code Power Platform functionality into Model Driven Apps is available.
In the past we could already use embedded Canvas Apps or Custom Pages in the Model Driven Apps and with the Creator Kit these can have the same look and feel. In addition, customizing the Command Bar by using Power FX or creating Power FX columns or low code server-side plugins with Dataverse Accelerator really brings the power of Canvas Apps to the whole platform, including Model Driven Apps.
Furthermore, Power FX is also part of the pac cli command line tool, taking this experience to a whole new level.
In this session we will have a look at these features and functionalities that are yet available and give you more flexibility in working with the whole Power Platform.
Power FX and Dataverse - from Canvas Apps to Low Code Plugins en de
Power Fx, the language of the Power Platform, is becoming increasingly important alongside Canvas Apps and Custom Pages.
With Modern Commands in Model Driven Apps and Power Fx Columns in Dataverse, two other areas of application for Power FX are already generally available. And with Low Code Plugins, the next interesting area of application is now in preview. Plugins themselves are nothing new in the Power Platform, as server-side plugins based on .Net are already an established part of Pro Dev implementations based on the Power Platform or Dynamics 365 CE modules.
In this session, we will look at the different Power FX application options using a few examples and especially compare low code and pro code plugin capabilities.

Build your applications on a strong foundation. Know the building blocks that are available as different data types and relationships as part of Dataverse to build a solid data model. Server-Side plugins based on .net are an established component of Pro DEV implementations based on the Power Platform or Dynamics 365 CE modules. The Dataverse Accelerator app is currently in the preview and has been activated in all Environments. This allows Power Apps Makers to execute low code Power FX formulas as Server-Side plugin logic on Dataverse.
In this session we look at the possibilities of low code plugins and how they can be implemented in canvas and model driven apps, as well in Power Automate flows.
In addition, Microsoft introduced the Power FX Columns and announced new functionalities with the 2023 Release 2 Wave Update, which might allow Power FX Columns to be used instead of Calculated or Rollup fields.
Getting started with Power Pages - Full day workshop en
Power Apps, Power Automate and Power BI may be the most well-known components of the Power Platform. But there is another module within Power Platform, which allows you to communicate and interact with internal and external users. This full-day workshop will help you to get started with Power Pages.
Power Pages are built on top of data stored in Microsoft Dataverse or Dynamics 365. A good data model and security concept are important parts of the Power Pages architecture. You will understand how to configure Power Pages, that only logged in users will have access to the respective data, by managing user access using roles, permissions, and authentication methods.
Once you have your data in place you will learn how to design your first Power Pages, bring content based on views and forms to the pages, and how forms and fields can be prefilled based on existing data. Then you will learn how you can customize the layout of Power Pages, and which possibilities you have to create your own layouts enhance and how to customize the navigation of your site and create headers, footers and menus.
We will also cover how to include Power Automate flows or SharePoint to your Power Pages.
Community Tools for Dynamics 365 and Power Platform en
There's a bunch of tools available for free in the Dynamics 365 and Power Platform community which are helping to bring your projects to the next level.
Either Browser Plugins that are helping to access very easy additional details of Model Driven Apps or the Web-API, standalone tools to document Canvas Apps, create relevant demo data or mighty tools like the XRM-Toolbox that are combining hundreds of tools.
Neverthelss, it is important to know what is available and which tools should be part of the toolbox of every Power Platform developer to create better solutions. This session is not only helping Dynamics 365 CE developers to get a better overview of top community tools, especially Power Platform developers starting to use the full bandwith of the platform as well as D365FO Developers who have to deal a lot more with dataverse and the Power Platform will get a comprehensive overview of helpful tools.
